On November 23, 2021, at Hanoi National University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) took place the Signing Ceremony of Cooperation Agreement on Cooperation Program in Information Technology between Hanoi National University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) and Gustave Eiffel University in an online format.

Attending the signing ceremony, on the side of Hanoi National University of Civil Engineering, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Anh - Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Tien Dung - Head of International Cooperation Department; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Anh Binh - Dean of Faculty of Information Technology; Dr. Nguyen Ha Duong - Vice Dean of Faculty of Information Technology. On the side of Gustave Eiffel University (France), there was Ms. Sylvie Chevrier - Vice Rector; Mr. Mahdi Zargayouna - In charge of the Master of Information Technology program.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, on behalf of HUCE leaders, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Anh – Vice-Rector shared that Hanoi National University of Civil Engineering and Gustave Eiffel University have had close cooperation for many years. In particular, the cooperation in training such as the 5 plus 1 student transfer model, majoring in Structural Engineering and Materials. Up to now, the fact that the two schools continue to cooperate in building IT training programs taught in English is a testament to the close, effective and sustainable cooperation between the two schools. The University's leaders confirmed that this is the first cooperation agreement of the Faculty of Information Technology on training cooperation programs with international partners. After completing the program, students are awarded a Master's degree from Gustave Eiffel University and an Engineering degree in Information Technology from Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

In the response speech, the representative of Gustave Eiffel University thanked the leaders of Hanoi University of Science and Technology and gave a presentation on the strengths of Gustave Eiffel University in training and research. Once again, the leader of the university, Gustave Eiffel, affirmed that the establishment of a cooperation program in training and accepting students from Hanoi University of Science and Technology is a testament to the continuity and effectiveness of international cooperation between the two universities.

In the reply to counterpart in charge of the Master's program of Gustave Eiffel, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Anh Binh - Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, sent special thanks to his counterpart for collaborating. program development cooperation and confirmed this is the first cooperation agreement document of the Faculty of IT. Students have the opportunity to access a lot of useful knowledge, advanced technology, especially in the field of Intelligent Systems. A special point to emphasize is that students participating in the Program are entitled to a partial exemption from tuition fees. Tuition fees for HUCE students are the same as for European Community students.

The signing ceremony took place successfully, marking a new beginning in the international training cooperation program in Information Technology.
